Blinded by your master Luke 23:1-7

“How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, you who have weakened the nations! (Isaiah 14:12) Here he was, having kept captive those who claimed to do the work of God. They were no longer of God or even of themselves. They were liars just as their master is. Nevertheless this fight was for them as well. They were following the orders of their chosen king.

Oh if they had listened to the words of the prophet as to who he is and has been: “Those who see you will gaze at you, they will ponder over you, saying: Is this the man who made the earth tremble, who shook kingdoms, who made the world like a wilderness
and overthrew its cities, who did not allow his prisoners to go home?’(Isaiah 14:16-17)

Remember when I told you about the parable of the Vine growers on Luke 20:9-18? 14-15 says: “But when the vine-growers saw him, they reasoned with one another, saying, ‘This is the heir; let us kill him so that the inheritance will be ours. So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him.” Their arrogance and desire for power just as their master’s was the motive to want to get rid of Me.

Satan’s presence can be seen in those whose heart is arrogant and unable to see their God; Their Creator. Those who live for themselves. As Satan, they say in their hearts: ‘I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, and I will sit on the mount of assembly in the recesses of the north. ‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds and I will make myself like the Most High. (Isaiah 14:13-14) I, I, I…

Satan’s body; The Sanhedrin and the people who had joined them, took Me to Pilate to wash their hands off and have Pilate do the “dirty work.” They accused Me with lies. They said: “We found this man misleading our nation and forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar and saying that He Himself is Christ, a King” Can you recognize Satan’s tactics here?

They were lying, accusing Me, distorting the truth to obtain their purposes, hiding under God’s law. Appearing to fight for the good of man. Pilate asked Me if I was The King of the Jews? To their deaf ears I said: “It is as you say.” This made them more angry and said to Pilate: “He is teaching what we don’t want to hear and is stirring the people” He has been teaching from Galilee and is coming your direction”

Pilate saw a window of opportunity to get rid of My case; Therefore, preventing him from making a decision. He thought I needed to go to the one in charge of the Galilean region; Herod. You see, Pilot’s wife had been given dreams and he was afraid to touch Me. Who but My father would have given her those dreams? what was My father doing in the mean time as I was facing this road? Someday you might know.

My Father and I are always working (John 5:17). Our work is to rescue you, preventing you from ending as the liar and the enemy of your soul will. Since we are taking a look at Isaiah 14, We will see what the prophet says his end will be on Vs 15,“Nevertheless you will be thrust down to Sheol, to the recesses of the pit” His end and those that are his is not a mystery. As My coming is all over the Scriptures, so is their end.
