Don’t fear if your trust is in Jesus! This battle has already been won! It was fought on the cross and it was won on resurrection day! What Jesus is telling us on this scripture is that He is returning! PEOPlE, WAKE UP! stop ignoring the signs! Don’t you understand He told us what is to come?
He warned us to be on guard so that the struggles we are to endure in this world would not destroy us or handicapped us placing us wounded in the enemy’s land.
He said there would be a tribulation before He is to come. Matthew 24:7-14 describes it as follows: For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.
“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.
Many false prophets will rise up and deceive you. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Many will be offended, will betray one another and will hate one another. Can you see where we are? Do you see where we are headed? Do you see the hate on the streets? Even the churches are falling into this trap of the enemy. Not seeing each other through the eyes of our Lord but through the differences we have. For to many people, only their opinion counts, their feelings are felt and their vision is the real deal.
The other point I highlighted is that this gospel will be preached in all the world and then the end will come. With the advancement of technology, can you see how this is now so much easier to complete? Aside from God’s Missionary workers taking risks to fulfill this great commission, many remote parts of the world are receiving the word of God with the aid of the internet or through cellular phones. There might be a few places ignorant of the Gospel but I think we are closer than ever to get this completed.
He said: There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves. Man fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
The Powers of heaven being shaken! Perhaps we are not seeing this terror yet, or are we? there is so much happening due to climate change, so many people dying of natural disasters but I guess there is still room to ignore and attribute it to Nature and its always changing characteristics.
Man fainting from fear. I am very familiar with humanity fainting under the clash of depression, anxiety, fears. Many are committing suicide because they are feeling defeated; overwhelmed. I am also aware of this epidemic affecting the soldier population. There is no age, racial or social status that this disease does not touch.
He continues by saying: Then they will see The son of Man coming in a cloud with powers and great glory! But when this things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads because your redemption is drawing near.
This my friends, will be the end of our struggles! The new beginning and under new management! Evil will be completely eradicated and Satan’s time over! so looking forward to that day! He said that Heaven and Earth will pass away but His words would not pass away!
He told us the parable of the fig tree. He said: As the fig tree and all the trees; As soon as they put forth leaves, we see it and we know for ourselves that summer is near. He said that as we can recognize this fact, we will be able to recognize His second coming!
He also said that we need to be on guard so that our hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life so that the day He is coming back will not come onto us like a trap. For it will certainly be here and come upon all those who are on the earth whether we think it true or not or are prepared for it or not.
He said for us to Pray! Pray and be alert and awake! pray that we may have strength to escape all these things and be able to stand before Him. His first coming was that of the lamb. The second will be that of the Lion! Nevertheless, His death was endured so that you and I would have a chance of redemption. A chance of receiving free mercy from our Heavenly Father!
We have been forewarned, we have had plenty of time. To finish this scripture, it says that during the day He was preaching at the temple and during the night at the mount of Olivet. Certainly spending His time praying to continue His ministry and give you and I the best chance for us to listen and follow Him. His life was spent warning us and teaching us to prepare for such day!
This is it! This is the day the prophets also warned us about! This is the final chapter to this story! Soon Revelation will be unfolded! The theater is set to put on the final show! We know how the story goes! We know who the winner is! No one will claim to miss the performance! The time for choosing is now! Today is the day of Salvation!
He is the Alpha and the Omega.The beginning and the end. From Genesis to Revelation The story for which He stands! All those lives who played their characters to show us the great I Am, will finally see the whole picture and welcome us into His reign!
Daniel 12:1-4 says about that day: Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued. Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake, these to everlasting life, but the others to disgrace and everlasting contempt.
Those who have insight will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.”
2 Timothy 3:1-4 says: But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.
Revelation 1:7 says: Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.
