In Memory of a New Covenant Luke 22:14-23

This was the last of the bread and the last of the fruit of the vine I took with the apostles untill I come back to a new Earth. Take it and share it among yourselves as often as possible in memory of the new covenant.

What is the new covenant you say? It is the entrance into a final phase of a process of transformation that is only acquired through Me. My body was given and My blood poured out to buy your freedom out of slavery.  I have set you free but you must freely choose to accept it.

As you accept My father’s gift through Me, I am able to redeem you and make you into a new creature that is born of the Spirit, strengthened and led by the Spirit instead of the flesh in which you were born, and able to become Holy as God is Holy. You were made to live forever and live in community with God.

God is Holy and sin has corrupted you and make you unable to live in community with Him. I have come and paid a price for your sins and as hard as it is for you to understand, It is My blood that was poured out on that cross that allows you free access to God the Father for now until things are renewed.

I will come back physically and then you will be totally reborned of body and Spirit as I am. I raised from the dead and so will you. As you accept grace, you begin to grow Spiritually and the transformation I am talking to you about starts taking place at this point but your body still decays and dies. When I come back, you will get a body that never dies.

Remember what the Prophet Jeremiah said in Jeremiah 31:33-34. But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days, “declares The Lord” I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

They will not teach again each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, know The Lord, for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, declares the Lord “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.

This is going to be the end process. When there will be new heavens and new earth and you are able to live eternally with God. Remember what John tells you in the book of revelation about these times?

Revelation 21:1-8 says: Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea.  And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.  

And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them,  and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.”

 And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He *said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost.

He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.  But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

On this day of Passover meal, As hard as it was to know the pain I was to endure, I thanked The Father for the bread and the cup and for My body and My blood and I was excited to share that meal  and its meaning with the apostles and to pass this on to you for this is why I came. To give My life willingly so that you could have life and life abundantly.

Although it was written that it had to be so, Judas did not have to betray Me and neither should you. He was overtaken by satan because He disregarded My words and let his guard down. Woe to Judas. Woe to you when my sacrifice is in vain for you as you disregard it.

So what does it mean when you share My supper? It means that you remember your redemption as Israel remembers their passover from slavery to freedom.  Take it and share it among yourselves and pass it on to your children and your children’s children as Israel did until I come for you. Remember that it also means you have chosen the gift I have given you and you are now My disciples; in process to become more like Me.
